Year 1 pupils were superb ambassadors for Windlesham House when they visited the South Downs Planetarium in Chichester this week. There were genuine gasps of awe and wonder as we settled back into our jumbo jet seats in the star dome and gazed up at the projections of outer space on its ceiling. As we studied the constellations, one of our lovely boys whispered to me that it was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen! The children were fascinated by the effects of microgravity on the astronauts onboard the international space station and have been moonwalking around the playground ever since we returned!
