Pre-Prep curriculum

In addition to high quality teaching and learning in core subjects, we have small class sizes with full time teaching assistants working alongside the class teachers. In the EYFS, we have a home-school app supporting the children’s achievements and developmental next steps.

Teaching by specialist staff from Reception includes:

• Swimming in our state of the art swimming facility
• PE / games in our state of the art sports complex
• Drama in our refurbished studio
• Music
• Food technology
• Forest school
• Computing (from Year 2)
• Termly curriculum enrichment days including visiting specialists. Previous days include art and music, science and sport
• Pre-Prep sports matches against other schools
• Large multi-purpose teaching and learning space and a small classroom for group or one to one sessions
• Parent workshops supporting reading and maths at home
