Online Safety Day

This week, all children joined the global celebration of Online Safety Day! This year’s theme, “Inspiring Change?”, encouraged us to reflect on the positive potential of the internet while also discussing the challenges we face online.

While online safety is a regular topic in our weekly computing lessons, this special day provided a dedicated space for children to share their thoughts and ideas. They engaged in discussions about:

• The amazing things we can do online, challenges we might encounter and how we can work together for a safer internet.

• The children’s insightful perspectives highlighted their understanding of the importance of online safety. We are proud to see them actively engage in making the internet a better place for everyone.

• Online safety is an ongoing conversation. It is important to encourage your children to talk to you about their online experiences, and continue to guide them as they navigate the digital world.
