Year 4 had an action-packed team-building day, filled with fun, friendship, and exciting challenges! The morning had anĀ Ancient Rome theme, starting with a thrilling escape room where our young gladiators had to work together to solve clues and break free from the Colosseum before time ran out. Their problem-solving skills and teamwork were truly put to the test, and they rose to the challenge brilliantly!

Next came theĀ Junk Box Roman Armour Challenge, where the children had just 30 minutes to work together to create Roman armour from recycled materials. The final creations showcased their ability to think outside of the box!

In the afternoon, the children headed into the woods for a series of team challenges, encouraging resilience, collaboration, and a love of the great outdoors. It was wonderful to see them supporting each other, thinking creatively, and embracing every task with enthusiasm.

After a busy and adventurous day, the excitement continued into the evening with a delicious supper at school, followed by a cosy movie night complete with treats. It was the perfect way to wind down and enjoy some well-earned relaxation with friends.

By morning, there were plenty of sleepy but smiling faces, proud of everything they had achieved. The children created lasting memories and developed essential skills in teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. A huge well done to Year 4 for their energy and enthusiasm!
